Our family came for a week and it was perfect. Spacious, comfortable condos right on beach. Come prepared with all your food-unless you want to pay to eat eat at their different places, which will add up over time. If you do want to eat out and don't mind the drive to Gulf shores... Go to the Flying Harpoon. Absolutely best shrimp po boys. And for fresh local seafood go to the fresh market about 10 miles east of the Beach Club. We have nothing negative to say. Recommend booking through spectrum versus through condo owners, if you have kids. Many of the activities are not free otherwise. Also access to the onsite gym, indoor pool and more eating options. We will definitely be back.

Stayed in Bristol for 4 days! Activities were more for teenagers and small children. Great location and proximity to the beach. Pools were crowded but there were several options. Overall, it was a good experience!

We stayed in the Catalina room 507. We arrived Friday Sept. 4th to find the room barely cleaned. The AC duct work hasn't been cleaned properly in years, our ceiling next to the vents was disgusting with build up that's been blown out of there for some time. This didn't just occur between the last guest leaving and us arriving. Poor management service when we called in. They told us someone was on their was to look at it and to clean the unit and fix the refrigerator that didn't work. That person who was on it's was at 5:00 pm Friday afternoon didn't arrive till 11pm Saturday. The only way we even knew they came was from the smell of bleach through out. The refrigerator still doesn't work properly. We had to go get ice and ice down the beer and other food that requires refrigeration. So Saturday afternoon we notified the beach workers that we wanted to reserve chairs etc. for Sunday and agreed to the $30 charge. We go out Sunday morning and were told our chairs are down that way (pointing to the left) we searched and searched more to discover they weren't put out and they had no more left. We were given (1) chair that the life guard used, no table or shade tent to sit under and was still charged. Yes, the property is nice but disappointing on the inside. I am strictly ONLY speaking for 507. We will not be returning to this place nor any of the other properties that it owns. Travelers you have been warned.

Very nice resort set away from the full hubbub of the redneck riviera main drag. Our room had a gorgeous view of the pool and the ocean and had plenty of space for four and all the trappings to make a week-long stay easy and convenient. Great for families with all the activities you could ever want for kiddos. Our suite had a faintly musty smell, but otherwise perfect. Friendly staff. One surprise - no breakfast service to speak of, so plan to make it in your kitchenette.

Great place close to the beach grown ups and kids friendly and I came here 4 weeks out from a show and the on ground weight room helped me stay on track with my lifting and cardio

I came here for a wedding last weekend and was blown away! Because it was after Labor Day, we got our rental for pretty cheap on VRBO (shared a 2 bedroom condo with 4 people- we each paid $130 for the weekend). Our condo was sooooo nice, super upgraded kitchen and bathrooms, really nice furniture, huge balcony and living room. The resort is quite a ways down on Fort Morgan, which is nice because the beach is pretty secluded and there are no other condos around really. Anyways, the staff at the Beach Club were all really nice and really helpful, it has 5(!!) pools and like 10 hot tubs. We ate exclusively on the resort and all of the food was pretty tasty and the drinks were good too (delicious pina coladas). I think this place gets pretty packed during the summer, probably lots of families with kids. I think we went the perfect time of year (mid September)- it wasn't crowded, but still hot enough to swim. Definitely coming back next year.

Beautiful, beautiful beach, and lots of space for the price. However, one word for anyone who goes to the beach for R&R: CONSTRUCTION. I traveled a very long way to get to Fort Morgan, which is gorgeously and inconveniently at the end of nowhere. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, I realized they were doing construction in the building where I was staying, Doral. While the condo was nice, there was no way to escape construction noise. It was extremely loud inside the condo, on the balcony, at the pool down below, and even on the beach. When I called the front desk about it, they said that there was nothing they could do, and that there was no policy in place at Spectrum Resorts or The Beach Club about alerting owners that there will be construction in the building. This seems like extremely bad policy, as good condo owners would then alert potential renters to the construction. There is also nowhere to buy coffee at the Beach Club. When I tried to purchase coffee this morning, I was told I would have to pay an extra $40 for access to the "clubhouse" in order to purchase a drink at the tiki bar. The only place to get coffee is at something called the Village, which has one restaurant. They don't open until nine in the morning, and they don't serve lattes or any of the regular coffee drinks--just a plain cup of coffee. Hey, it's the beach, and it's beautiful, and obviously I could survive without a latte, but the fact that you can't get coffee before nine in the morning, and that you have to walk 15 minutes each way to get it, seems odd. I've never before been to a resort that didn't have a basic coffee shop! I arrived at night and there were no grocery stores open in Gulf Shores on the way to Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan has no stores at all, so, in order to buy basic supplies (coffee, people!) , you have to drive 13 miles to Gulf Shores. So...no coffee, very little in the way of food, loud construction. If you simply want to stay somewhere cheap, and you live close by, this is a decent option--my condo was less than $200 per night and it's right on the beautiful beach. I mean, the beach here is gorgeous, and the price is fantastic. Now that I'm here, I understand why it's cheap. I could do with the utter lack of services, if it weren't for the fact that the construction makes it miserable to be inside the condo, and the resort doesn't even have anywhere that you can purchase ear plugs. If it were warmer, of course, it would be fine to simply go outside and walk far enough down the beach to escape the noise, but it's quite cold and windy. Of course, weather simply is what it is--but in a well-run resort, staying inside is a pleasant experience when the weather is bad. It's sad, because this could be a great property if Spectrum invested in some very basic services and had a more guest-friendly policy when it came to construction.

Stayed here a few weeks ago. Love the place, love the area. In this paticular location there were no druken teenagers. Security probably keeps them ran off. Great area for family. Grew up near here and it was just as I remembered. If youre l;ooking for a great place for the family that hasnt become too touristy then I strongly recommend it.

We were here for Christmas 2013. There were very few people there at the time, but we had a wonderful time. The facilities are very nice, the location is picturesque and serene, and still close to lots of things to do even during the off-season.

I searched for weeks for a nice, family friendly spot on the beach to take my sister and her kids who had never been to the ocean. We loved our condo- it was spacious and well equipped. The check-in/check-out process was simple and the location was well kept and maintained. We stayed 4 nights right on the beach and we really enjoyed it! I would recommend this location to families with children and anyone looking for a quiet stay on the beach.
